Privacy Policy
Effective September 18, 2026. This policy belongs to Coach Hype LLC ("Coach Hype", "we", "us"). We run www.coachhype.com from the United States, and your information is processed there.
We keep this short and plain. If anything here is unclear, email us at yourstruly.oliver@gmail.com.
What we collect, and who handles it
We only collect what a step needs. Here is each step, what it takes, and which service handles it.
Booking a session or the programme
When you book, you give your name, your email address, and a short note about what you want to work on. Our own scheduling system, Calnode, stores this. We host Calnode ourselves at schedule.coachhype.com. It is not a third-party booking service. Calnode sends your booking confirmation email.
Paying
Payment runs through Stripe Checkout. Stripe takes your card details on its own pages. We never see or store your card number. Stripe sends us your name, your email address, and what you bought, so we can deliver it. Any receipt for your payment comes from Stripe. Stripe's own privacy policy covers the payment step.
We keep the ID of each payment event for 30 days, so the same payment is never processed twice. That record holds no personal details.
Sessions on Zoom
Coaching sessions take place on Zoom. Zoom processes your name, your email address, and the audio and video of the call under its own privacy policy. Each session is recorded, with a transcript, because the recording and transcript are part of what you bought. We share them with you and use them to prepare your written follow-up. Tell us before the session if you do not want it recorded.
We use Brevo to send transactional email, such as tester invitations and replies to your questions, to the address you gave us. When you send feedback, Brevo emails us a notice so we can read it. We do not send marketing email unless you asked for it.
Hosting and server logs
Cloudflare serves this site and runs our small server functions for checkout, download delivery, and feedback. Cloudflare keeps request logs, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, for security and to keep the site running. Our checkout functions log the order number and the email address on the order.
The Flourish Engine
The Flourish Engine keeps your workspace in your own browser's local storage. Nothing leaves your machine unless you choose to export it. A calendar export you download stays on your device too. We cannot see your workspace, your tasks, or your progress.
Tester feedback
If you send feedback through the feedback form, we store what you wrote, with the name and email you enter, in our project's private code repository (GitLab). The record also holds your browser type, your country, and the invitation reference if you came from a tester invitation. We also get an email notice so we can reply.
Calendar
When a booking is confirmed, Calnode adds the appointment to Coach Hype's calendar (Google Calendar). Nothing is written to your calendar unless you accept the invitation we send.
What we do not do
- We run no analytics, tracking scripts, or advertising pixels on this site.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not store card numbers.
How long we keep it
- Booking and payment records: up to seven years after the transaction, to meet tax and accounting rules.
- Session recordings and transcripts: twelve months after the session. We delete them sooner if you ask.
- Feedback: for as long as the tester programme runs. We delete it sooner if you ask.
- Email: Brevo keeps sending logs under its own retention period.
- Server logs: Cloudflare keeps request logs for a short period under its own retention rules.
- Payment event IDs: 30 days.
- Flourish Engine data: on your device, until you clear your browser storage or export and delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email yourstruly.oliver@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days. We may keep booking and payment records we need for tax and accounting rules.
If you are in the EU or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. If you live in California, you have the same access and deletion rights, and we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new effective date.
